AS results query

My AS results were ABBC with the C coming in economics (Which I was pretty disappointed with). This is the new spec meaning the result doesn't affect what I do next year, but I would like to do economics at university and I was wondering if this disappointing grade would put off universities looking at my application? I think my teachers would give me a higher predicted grade for next year, as I still have plans to get an A in the full A level.

They'll probably be more interested in your Maths result.
