I got rejected from UoB (which was my insurance), I suffered from extenuating circumstances during my exams but only informed my firm about this. I would like to appeal my rejection because those circumstances weren't taken into consideration by the uni (which was my fault) and also because my biology grade was 3 ums off an A so I've sent it off for a remark (which would secure me the place at UoB).. Is this a valid reason to appeal my rejection or am I just clutching at straws?

The remark could be valid but the ecs might not be as you had plenty of time to tell them, they don't have to hold a place for you whilst you get a remark though, it's just something that's encouraged.

Just call your insurance in the morning and see what they say, sometimes even ecs don't make unis more linient.
