I'm nearly 16 and I want to get a job but im quite shy so I don't know if I'll actually make any friends or if I'll just always be a loner sitting in the corner not speaking like on breaks and stuff. If it turns out that way then I'll hate working there!

Do u think this would happen???
What are your opinions on working at 16 ???

your best bet is probably working in a restaurant or cafe if possible so that you can gain confidence by talking to customers first. I work in a local tea room/cafe and we get regulars that we can have a half hour conversation with. It's really helped me (I have Generalised Anxiety Disorder so I'm more than just regular shy). If not, working in retail tbh is alright as well because you bond with your colleague over your mutual hatred for the job haha! No one in retail 100% enjoys their job (if they do, that's a miracle!) so when I worked in retail, we sat in the break room gossiping about annoying customers we'd get and we'd have a good laugh about it.
