Hello hope everyone did really well within their results today! Those who have done exdecel drama have the unit 2 grades been really bad? No one where I am got above a C which is pathetic as we all worked so hard and if we were all that bad I mean the teacher would have said. It's like the examiner had her eyes shut during our performances.

I don't know anybody who got above a C. My class full of very talented students were predicted As and we came out with Cs, Ds and Es. Also we sent for a remark and none of ours changed. Something has gone terribly wrong this year, if people in national youth theatre were getting C grades then the syllabus obviously wasn't testing our acting ability.

A level drama with edexcel is flipping weird. Same thing happened with a lot of my year group ten years ago. If this is your passion I'd advise you to do btec (which is ironically awarded by edexcel but still).

We had exactly the same problem. One person (very well deserved) scraped an A, two got a B, and the rest got Cs, Ds, Es and Us. We all feel the same way, because in order to get an D, E or U would involve either not saying anything, forgetting most of your lines, or constantly coming out of role. Four previous examiners watched our dress rehearsals and wouldn't have given anyone less than a B. Similarly we all applied for a remark and no one changed a single UMS. This means they didn't actually remark it; the exam board just took our money without having to work for it or admit a massive mistake on their part.
