Hi there! I got my AS results today and I'm really pleased with them - ABBB in history, politics, maths and physics. I'm dropping physics and carrying the other three ahead to A-level and I was wondering if my grades would be sufficient to apply for theology at Oxford (required A-levels AAA). If I resit a module from politics and another from maths, I can definitely bring politics AS up to an A and probably maths up to an A too. Will Oxford know about any resits, will this have any effect on my predicted grades and do I have to include AS grades in the application?

    Thanks

You will have to declare your AS grades on your UCAS form. You should speak to your teachers and see if they will predict you AAA (or higher). However, an offer isn't just based on grades. You also need an awesome personal statement, decent references and to perform well at interview, and that will also contribute to a decent offer
