Have you tried comparing course structures yourself. Only you know what interests you so you need to work out which course offers more to you as an individual.

In one course, you spend a semester in industry. It's rght there in the title :P

More seriously though, usually for "year/semester in industry/abroad" you can transfer "into" those courses after you've already started on the "base" course, provided you have that necessary marks in your uni work.

Also those courses tend to have higher A level reqiurements if you're straight out applying to them, so you're probably better off applying to the base course and then debating it once you get in. Also you aren't jsut given an internship; you still need to make arrangements for one in that course anyway, so it's not just a shoo-in for work experience during your course.
