Yesterday I got an offer from my firm, Birmingham, to study Psychology. They wanted ABB and I got A*A*B so obviously i'm over the moon with my grades. Problem is I had a bit of a realisation back in early July that I'd rather do Law with Criminology, so I tried to get my course changed but they were full. Then I got my accommodation offer through as well, and they gave me my last choice from the list and there's no room to change/swap there either so now I'm just feeling kind of bummed out about the whole thing.
Part of me is know thinking that I could reapply for next year for Law with Criminology with the grades that I got this year, and then reapply for accommodation too. But part of me is terrified of that, at the prospect of not getting an offer etc, and thinks that I should just make the most of my situation.
Any advice/opinions would be much appreciated, ty
Shall I take a year out and reapply? Watch

If you no longer want to study psychology at university, then don't because you'll be spending the whole time wishing you were studying Law with criminology instead.
You have got amazing grades so I don't see why you wouldn't get any offers if you applied next year. In your 'gap year', you could get valuable work experience and earn money that could go towards your time at University.
