Eligibility

Hi there,

If I enrol on a Professional Certificate in Education (I'll fund this with Student Finance), will that affect my eligibility for the Government's postgraduate loan should I want to do a Masters in my area of study afterwards? I read you cannot already hold a Masters degree to be eligible for the postgraduate loan, but as this is not a Masters level qualification, would I still be able to take out this loan?

Hi,

If you hold a PGCE or PGDip, you will still be eligible to apply for the Postgraduate loan.
