So im waiting for my results to come on the 25th, however im paranoid that i will not be able to do psychology (which ive qaited ti do since year 9) if i havent got a b in maths.
If that is the case then im planning in retaking it because need a b to get into uni, however will they let me retake alongside psychology? I will honestlybso devastated if i cant do it. I want to become a therapist.

Ive had special consideration for my mental help if that helps.

Good universities require a B to do it at university. Also there is a lot of stats at uni.

The new psyhology syllabus which started last year is very very mathematical and scientific (I do Edexel). The entry requirement for our sixth form is a b in maths and science however my friend failed maths and science at gcse and was allowed on the course alongside retaking maths as the teachers knew her well and knew she was going to work hard (She is!!). So it really depends on your sixth form or college but I would advise you to go to your sixth form if you have one as your teachers might let

I've got a C in GCSE maths and I'm doing psychology and have no problem with the maths in it, and just got an A in it at AS. However, I do agree with the others that good unis often ask for a B in GCSE maths so I'm probably going to retake in my gap year. Might be wise to retake to get a B or above
