    Hiya
I got my AS results yesterday and in Media Studies I got a C; 65 marks in the exam (C) and 72 marks in coursework (B). My teacher has since emailed me and told me I was three marks off a B. Should I ask for it to be remarked? Or retake it next year? Or just work harder at A2 to get extra marks to bring my whole grade up? Thank you!

To be honest, i found A2 in most of my subjects easier but maybe that was just me. I would recommend resitting the exam, if you feel as if you could do better next time. I did this in one of my chem exams and went from a C to and A in it. It really helped me pull my C in AS chem to an A at A2.

If I were in your position and I was okay with paying for it then I would definitely do it- you're so secure in the c band that it won't make a difference if it goes down a little instead of going up. Good luck!

Resit the exam if you feel confident that you can improve but I wouldn't advise a remark, what is done is done. There is also a charge for having a remark.
