Hi there! After my firm choice rejected me (after waiting 2 days) I now FINALLY have a confirmed place at Sheffield and I was wondering if it was possible if I'd still be able to get university and not partnership accommodation? I'm desperate to be in halls and I'm worried I've already missed out on it

Sheffield University is generally normally good at being able to provide first year accommodation to all students (even if you're insurance), therefore if you haven't applied already that would probably be the best place to start.

However, as a former insurance student myself (and judging by my conversations of others), do not be surprised if you don't end up in one of the 'newer' blocks. They tend to place a lot of insurance students in catered or shared bathroom accommodation (i.e. Stephenson Hall).
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
