I just received my grades just like many people and my EPQ grade we extremely lower than what i was told/predicted. I was fortunate enough to be told that my epq was very good and worthy of an A.
I think i got 51/54, anyone could tell me thats an A, but i got my results back and it was graded a D???
Fair enough if my supervisor was eager to mark me higher but a jump from an A to a D is abit much?
I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem as me?
Thanks,
Chels x

Hi Chels,
I think the UMS i got was 23 (do you know what mark that is out of 54?) and got an A, but that does sound very excessive. Have you tried contacting your supervisor or exam board? Perhaps it's a printing error? -

Where do i see the UMS? it has a number 54 under the "points" part but thats about it.
I asked my ucas person ( cant think of the professional name) and she said that it had happened to alot of the epq students in my school, they were all being downgraded.
not sure what happened there to be honest. -

The same thing happened to me. My EPQ was marked 49 (A*) (at my school) by my tutor - assessor. Yesterday I got a result, which was C. Do you think there is a point in asking for a remoderation? Has anything similar ever happened at your school?
