I have to retake my A2 level because I had family problems at the time of the exam. I did get an offer to do a foundation year of bio but don't want to waste 9,000 on a foundation year and Instead retake and boost my grades and look better for future employers.

Omfd i'm literally going through the same thing!
I flopped my A2 big time as i was going through 'problems' during exam period. However I got unto a biomedical science course but with a foundation year which is a complete waste of money (like you said).

Im planning to start making notes from september(in two weeks) , rewrite the notes in January and then start on pastpapers from mid feb.
Also gonna volunteer at a hospital which is kind of sorted out and get a part time job

How are u planning your gap year?

My Sixth form surprisingly allowed me to retake but as an external student of course.
I wanted to get unto a biomed degree straight away rather than doing an extra foundation year. When do you plan to start revision & what grades are you aiming for next year?
I'm aiming for AAB/ABB which is possible considering i stick to my plan
