I dropped out of college in January because I hated it and alevels just weren't my sort of thing. I've applied for an access to HE nursing course which starts in september and have an interview. I rang the college before I applied and they said there's no age limit on it but in other colleges they've told me I have to be 19. I'm worried what will happen because I really want to become a nurse. Anyone know courses that will help me become one? I turn 18 in Ocotber. Please help!! Thank you!

Another option would be to find somewhere that will let you do a btec in a year.

Yeah you're not gonna be able to do an access course because there is literally no funding for under 19's, so with that you can either work for a few years and then do your access course once you reach 19 or go back to college. If you hated A-Levels so much you're going to hate access courses even more because of the sheer amount of pressure that's put on you to finish assignment after assignment, plus they're a lot faster paced than A-Levels. Also, access courses are pretty much 2 years of education jammed into one. So quite a bit harder when you look at it that way.
