Yes... of course.

To get an A overall, you need 240.

So, for example, you could get 2 A's with 100/100, and then you just need 40/100 marks, which is a U?

It depends. You need to tell us the weighting for each module and the UMS for each module. It’s very possible to get an A overall with AAC, but it depends on how high each grade was.

It’d be an E, not a U.
Two highish As and a C should do it  Ie 90 90 60
Yeah or 86 85 69

Yep! I got AAC in Music AS and was just a few marks off an A :frown: If the As are mid-to-high, you can get an A overall with a C in the last module, provided it's not a low C. It all depends on the module weightings.

I had AAD at AS level English Lit and still got an A overall (just about). My scores were 120/120, 72/90 and 50/90. So it's perfectly possible.

Depends on how high the C and the As are. If you get 90 90 60 that is still exactly 240 so that's an A. On the other hand if you just scrape an A on your other two units you won't hit the A, for example, if you get 82 84 64 gives you 230/300 so a B.
It is possible, but it depends on the UMS marks. I got the equivalent of a B overall (239/300, so 1 mark off an A) for the A2 part of English lit with module grades of AAC UMS marks of 84/90, 74/90 and 81/120, so if I'd got one more mark on any of my modules, I would have got the equivalent of an A overall. Just in case I've confused anyone, I say equivalent because A2 isn't a qualification, so you can't get a grade for it on its own.
yep as everyone has said, it depends on how high/low your C and A grades are. I know one girl who got AAE and ended up getting an A grade overall in AS Maths so it is definitely possible.
yeh yeh, is definatly possible. I got A-A-C in chemistry and ended up with a B overall, never mind.
