I have just got my results AEE and am of course very disappointed. I really want to resit the year and pick better subjects. I have been studying English Literature, Geography and Spanish (+ Polish but I know most UNi's don't count it).
I want to retake the year and was thinking about doing English, philosophy and ethics and history as I am much stronger at essay based subjects and I made a huge mistake in picking geography and Spanish.
I also feel like I would have more time to work on my personal statement, gain more work experience and work on my EPQ.
I would appreciate and help or opinions as I really want to do this but my headteacher didn't seem too keen when I told him.

I think it's a good option seeing as you have 2 subjects that you don't like.I did history and I found it far more enjoyable compared to English lit.Lots of content but if your good at essays which you clearly are with an A in English lit you can do well
