Anyone else here study Edexcel Applied ICT?

At AS I did well - 89% overall with two high As in the coursework units and a high B in the exam.

This year, I again got a B in the exam, which I was happy with. However, everyone in the class got either an E or a U in one of the coursework units (unit 8), and no higher than a B in the other. I got an E and C respectively, when I was predicted an A in both units.

The examiners report says that my teachers were too lenient with the marking of this, and thus apparently everyone in the class went down on average 12%.

This has lead to me getting a B overall, and has actually cost me my place at my firm university.

Though I'm pretty certain that there's not, is there anything I can do?

nope, just go for your insurance choice (or withdraw your application and look for work)

my daughter experienced the same - high B's in year AS coursework and resubmitted and marked A* /A by school. This years coursework was told to expect A but got D & C and only an E in exam which she cant understand. Most people in her class got D and E overall - she is very disappointed and confused. Did you ask for scripts?
