Student ages

Hi I have a deferred place at Edinburgh for next year having taken a year off to travel. I will be 19 and a half when I arrive. Is that going to make me a fish out of water? I realise I will be older than most new students but I just wondered if the re was a range of ages and what the average age tends to be? Any help on this welcome!
There is a range of ages but the majority is under the age of 30

I am joining straight out of high school and I'll be 19 and a half too, so no worries, I guess.
I'm coming from S5 so I'll be a little younger than most but I've done a summer course at Edinburgh and age didn't seem to matter and I fit in pretty well I didn't feel out of place at all, everyone was really friendly, hope this helps a little :smile:
