Is a level maths or economics more important for an economics degree. Will I be at a disadvantage if I drop either

you dont actually need to do economics at a level to do it at uni, but they'd probably ask questions if you wanted to do it at uni but didnt do it at a level. I'd try to do both personally.

definitely maths. Economics is obviously a bonus but Maths (and Further maths) are a lot more important.

Maths and further maths are much more important than economics

For most universities, maths A level is either essential or highly recommended for economics. Economics is not, likely because the subject is apparently taught very differently at uni, though if you want to study economics having an A level in it would probably help by showing interest in the subject.

Basically though, if you must drop one don't drop maths. Maths is very useful.

Dropping Economics may raise questions to the admissions officers. If you drop Economics after one year, they would consider your ability to study it for three years in depth.

    Do maths. Like 100%.

In fact, it might be better if you don't do economics, even. But since you already started it, dropping might look bad.

So in conclusion, keep both and drop another subject if you must.
