Having achieved A-Level grades of 'ABC', can I realistically aim for a career in law?

Yes. I've recruited people with worse grades than that, both as paralegals and trainees.

The key will be making sure you get good grades at university, and making sure you put in effort to building up the rest of your CV (work experience/extra curriculars/evidence of your career motivation).

Yes, I got the same 4 years ago. Make sure you get at least a 2.1 at uni and find some work experience. Work experience is vital!!! Especially in the area you want to practise if you know what that is.

I found it hard to find work in conveyancing with family law experience.
