I got an E for my International Advanced Level (IAL) -which is under pearson, edexcel- Law final result. Other two were B's which i am happy and content with. There are 2 papers for law and they are only set at A2 level. Each paper is out of 100 (4 essays worth 25 each) and both are added together and divided by 2 to get a percentage out of 100 as a final! I've currently got 38/100 (Paper 1 being 40/100 and Paper 2 being 35/100) as my final score and 40/100 is a D, 34/100 is a U. I feel like i may have struggled with one or two essays but even then, it baffles me that it is to the point i can drop to an E. I've been a straight A law student throughout lessons as well as had an A for my forecast! My teacher suggests remarking both papers as he is extremely shocked himself. I really feel like something has gone wrong and have no issue to pay for both of my papers to be sent back to remark - but just some advise on whether its a good idea would be appreciated. Please help, thank you!
