I go to uni in the Nottinghamshire county since i started university last year and it has been difficult to find a church around that area. Between September to March i visited about six different churches, going end to end like a mad man. One included a church in my uni but i couldn't get close to them because well i couldn't make friends there just like i couldn't make friends in uni. Since the start of the year, I've seen myself as an 'Agnostic Christian'

So i did a trip around March to Leicester and out of the blue i saw a church which struck me. I don't know what is what but i couldn't stop thinking about it. i went back to uni in August as i wasn't comfortable living with my parents so i visited the church in Leicester. I enjoyed it and i'm now considering going there but the problem is 1 1/2 hour by bus or train and it would sound very bizzare where they are actually many churches in my uni area (albeit they are all crap).

Long story short: What is your opinion on this. do any of you go to church so far away? I know one of my church members in my hometown travelled from Crawley to London to come to the services.

I used to do a 30 minute drive to church. I wouldn't do a minute travel now.

What i mean is i believe God exist but i don't know which one is the real one or which faith to follow. I'm a sceptic and it seems i've been forced into christianity since i was a child

Yes, it just means they believe in a god or gods, but don't necessarily believe with certainty. In the mind of the agnostic theist there is the possibility of being incorrect.

As an agnostic atheist I have a lot more time/respect for agnostic theists than I have for gnostic atheists or gnostic theists.

I've never travelled that far regularly for church but if you've connected with this church in Leicester and you can afford the time and money for the commute, then why not give it a go?
