Bad AS grades

Hi guys I've got bad as grades ( 3B's in english/maths/biology and a C in chemistry), and my predicted grades are likely to be the same. I wanted to apply to medical school, but with these grades it's not possible. Could I concentrate on my A-levels to try and get good grades, and reapply next year? What are medical school's attitude towards doing this, or does it vary?

You can always try your hardest at A2 to get the A2 grades needed for medicine, take a gap year (you can always spend that time getting relevant work experience) and then apply post-A2

Best of luck, don't give up!
