Any books I should be reading?

Hello, I have a place to study classical civilisation at the University of Warwick and before I go I want to know whether there are any books you would suggest I buy to read for the course.

Your uni will shortly send you an email from the dept and the list of texts you will need to either have bought or read before your course starts, so don't worry about it for now.

If you're asking generally; there's loads - I'd say start off with Sophocles first!
