Strange Question

I've got a strange and embarassing question that needs answering lol...

If a bloke gets... very excited shall we say, but doesn't 'finish', can it have any adverse effects?

Like I've heard it can cause problems or be painful, but I'm not sure.

I get very excited on Christmas Eve, what with the prospect of opening presents and all. Sometimes I don't finish tearing open the wrapping, but I haven't experienced any negative effects from not finishing. Mind you, I always open them eventually.
