Max Rayne House UCL

I just got offered accommodation at Max Rayne House. I've heard some pretty awful things about it, such as cockroach infestations and dirty living conditions. Can anyone confirm this?

It's also located in Camden and I REALLY dislike Camden. Is it even slightly safe? Is it really loud? Anyone else got offered accommodation there? I'm honestly thinking about going to a private provider because 135 pounds a week for such awful living conditions seems like a rip off. . .

Well if you want reasonable living conditions it will be upwards of 200 pounds a week for sure. Maybe even 230+. After looking around and searching for a long time (and going through a bit of stress) I was told by my parents that they can muscle a more expensive place for me to stay as long as it will be pleasant. I've never lived in the UK and coming from an extremely small country which is altogether considered village it's obvious that London will shock me quite a bit.
Talk about this with your parents.
Look at spare-room.com (although I imagine you have already).

Give me a shout if you don't want it
I rented a single room-not en suite in second floor in Max Rayne House for summer term, It looks cosy, but I had to check out yesterday because of some personal problems. Now this room is available if you wish to rent
