I got AABC for my AS levels, just missed out on an AAA which many top unis require as a minimum for Meng courses, so next year if I do better can I apply for a university with my A levels through UCAS, with my personal statement and everything, in the same manner as applying with my AS grades?

Also is an Meng in a less ranked university such as Exeter (in terms of engineering) better in comparison to a Beng from a higher one, like Bath?

You can! However, keep in mind that you apply with PREDICTED grades as well as your AS grades. So the university standard entry requirements are based on predicted grades. If you drop the subject you got a C in, you're likely to be predicted anything from AAA to A*A*A so you could easily apply this year if you wanted to. Can't really say anything about your other question! Good luck

Thanks I am dropping that 4th subject but I think my college bases my predicted grade only on my AS grade, if this were so could I still be considered with an AAB for an AAA course?
