I have an application form for a temporary position for maternity leave for the works, the shifts will be all day Sunday and Thursday 3-8 but I'm stuck on the application form.
1) it says describe any Management/Supervisory/Retail experience you have had? - I have none. This will be my first proper job. I had a waitressing job for a 4 weeks in September last year but i hadn't finished the training when i left due to transport so i was still shadowing the head waitress so i dont have any experience. I did volunteer for 4 days at the local museum in October 2013 during the half term where on some of the days i was left to run the ArtBeat sessions whilst the main supervisor went off to do something else but it wasn't busy and it was 3 years ago and only for 4 days so surely that cant count and its not the kind of experience they're looking for.
2) What do you think the key is for good customer service? - would this be an okay answer - 'I believe the key for giving good customer service is for the person to be friendly, approachable and always willing to help.'
3)should i put down my short job of waitressing or not
4) It says Please indicate below (table) what days and times you are able to work. - the lady said it was sunday and thursday so i know that but i dont know how to put it in the grid. it has all the days down the side and then Morning: From-To; Afternoon: From-To; Evening: From-To; Night: From-To along the top. Am i supposed to write available through the times or specifically 8-12, 12-6 etc.
I need to hand it back in tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time in filling out an application form and going for an interview so I'm really new to all of this

write your voluntary position down but don't include the 4 weeks - it's okay not to have loads of experience for this sort of job but they will question whether you will stay there if you say you quit your last job after 4 weeks
your answer sounds fine
write specific times down, if you're available all day you could write 'all day' but think if that's definitely true, is there a time you can't get a bus after/before etc
