I didn't have much interest for uni this year on the basis that I wanted to take a gap year whilst I decide what course I want to do, things fell through and I managed to not get a gap year apprenticeship with a reasonable company, there's no point in taking a gap year without anything to do so. Now I'm stressing out because I honestly can't decide what uni to go to. I went to the Kent open day a while back and it seemed good but the appearance of it put me off more than anything, just how it looked dated as weird as that sounds. Having got almost an A in maths I want to study financial mathematics but I don't know where to study... I'm considering Aston or Leicester as they both seem to have good reviews although not as good prospect wise as Kent which is bothering me as well. Does it really matter what university you choose so long as you get a good enough grade?? Because I feel like I shouldn't go to Kent on the basis that I didn't 'fall in love' with it which is what happened with most of my friends when they visited their unis. I know I should have visited each university but where they're quite far away it felt like too much of a burden.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
