I know it's stupid to question it, but, I've been with my boyfriend for a couple of months now. Whenever we're both laying down on his bed or something my shirt tends to ride up and my belly is out on show.
When this happens, we could be watching a film or whatever and he always goes out of his way and pulls in back down.. every time?! I'm not complaining or anything just cause I thought maybe it's a respect thing? but like most of the time I get really warm laying down so it really doesn't bother me. Do you guys think it's a respect thing? or am I disgusting or something? ... or maybe does he get aroused by it? I literally have no idea..

That's certainly not disgusting at all! I think chances are he is aroused by it either that or he has some weird ass OCD or something Don't worry about it but maybe if he does it again make a joke out of it asking him why he does it so he knows you are aware of it

Could be because he's distracted by it, could be playful and pretending he wants to put it away, could be a respect thing or maybe he's not comfortable with it?
Are you sexually active? He might be subliminally trying to tell you he isn't ready.

In any case, no matter what theories we can concoct in this thread, nothing will sort it out better than addressing your boyfriend about it. Don't make it a big deal, just wait until the next time he does it and ask "why did you do that?" casually or playfully. If he doesn't really give an answer then explain you're trying to understand why.

Try pulling it up when he does it in a teasing/joking way, maybe then he will tell you why, but I am guessing it's an OCD thing, or maybe just trying to be sweet.

Maybe he feels uncomfortable with you showing your belly off? Either way it sounds like you need a new shirt

Haha weird lol, first time I have heard something like that. I highly doubt he is disgusted by it, otherwise he wouldn't be with you. I think it is just one of those things that we do like I brush my feet together before getting into bed to get any crap off or pull up my trousers before bending down (you catch my drift...), he just pulls your top down.

I am single and never been in a relationship but if I was in his position I would use that as an excuse to touch you lol, I find a woman's belly arousing, every time a woman wearing a short top walks by it always catches my eye lol, and just to set things straight I'm not weird...

Maybe he's secretly gay and can't be man enough to come out, and is trying to hide it by being in a straight relationship but a girls belly on show(which I love my gf to do!), makes him uncomfortable.

    Or he thinks your ugly

Either way, you should be insulted, as he either is man enough to be honest with you or he thinks your ugly.
