I completed my masters degree last summer (2015) and since then have struggled to get a job. Apart from a 5 month unpaid part time intership I have been unemployed since finishing my masters. I have applied for all sorts of jobs and have had at least 1 interview per month for the last 10 months. Im 27, I want a career, a life, and to be able to settle down with my other half but its just not happening. I am overqualified for a lot of jobs and those im not overqualified for I dont have enough experience for, its Catch 22. After Interviews I am always told I was a strong candidate (often one of 2 or 3 shortlisted/best candidates) but someone else had more experience or a better interview.

Anyone else in the same position or with any advice?
