    Hi
I am currently thinking about moving to Leeds for uni in September 2017, and I hope to visit the uni at there next open day. As I am from Ireland I hoping to spend a couple of days to get to know the city. Does anyone one have any tips or places to go so I can get the best feel for the city and work out if I would fit into the city and the uni

As much as I love Leeds I don't think it's going to take you several days to get to know the city. The city centre can be scouted out in half a day. I guess if you wanted to also explore further afield like manchester then it might take a couple of days. I live only 90 minutes away from Leeds and only visited for 2 hours before deciding that I liked the university and the city has plenty of stuff I guess....but it's nowhere near on the scale of London
