    Can anyone advise me my son has joined the r a f officer training I have never stopped crying since he gone this morning.what if he dose not like it, how can he leave.

    He can theoretically leave whenever he wants while he's still on IOT. I had someone on my course decide they didn't like it after two days and left. All he has to do is just tell the people running the course.

    Make sure it's him that wants to leave and not you wanting him to leave though!

    As Schleigg says there are ways for him to leave even after he graduates out from Cranwell. Even when he moves on to phase 2 training there are chances

    However even if he does struggle, offer him support and advise him to at least complete officer training. Once you get past all the training and the BS it involves (Inspections, phys, the strictness of the staff etc) and into the real air force, specially as an officer, it will be an absolutely fantastic life and plenty of opportunity for him to achieve pretty much anything he wants.
