Is it overheating?? Are you blocking up the cooling fans when you use it?

What does it do before it restarts itself?

Does it only happen when you use certain programs, or does it do reset regardless of what you're doing?

It sounds like it could be overheating to me. If it were my laptop I'd try declocking it (if the bios allowed it) too cool it down and see if it still crashed, but I hardly want to advice such risky methods to someone over the internet. If it went wrong it'b be purely on my head.

I'd recommend doing general maintenence tasks on your laptop (defrag the hard disc, clean up all unnecessary programs and files, anti-virus scans, spyway/adware scans) and if nothing improves, then take it into a computer store for them to look over it.

Well have a look at your warranty. You could easily get the manufacturers to fix it for you as you havent had it for a year yet.

There was a virus in the news a couple of months back that did this to computers - sounds like you may have been infected. Sorry but I don't know the name of the virus.
