Can you define what you mean by loving someone and being in love with them? I think everyone has different definitions.

I'm in a ten month relationship which probably doesn't count lol!
I think people tend to say they are "in love with someone" when they feel really passionate towards them, whereas you just "love" someone when you care ffor them?
I dunno if i totally agree with this... but i do recognise that there is a different kind of love, i.e. that you feel for your friends/family and that which you feel for your partner...

From people i know in long term relationships they do tend to settle down and lose the "exciting just fallen in love" feel but on the other hand i do know a few couples who have been together for ages yet every time they see each other they get butterflies and cant stop smiling - its so cute: i guess you just have to meet the right person?

I'm curious of people in long term relationships, would you say that your in love with your partner still or would it just be love?

I don't understand the difference between a relationship just "being love" and one being "in love" ?

Please enlighten me

I wouldn't be too surprised if some people had both, but the poster above you had a good idea of what it means to be in love with someone.
