I have been recently looking at universities in London and have seen that there are some slight differences in their course content.

I am just wondering if that matters?

There will be slight differences between courses, however learning outcomes are set by the NMC so that there is consistency between nurse education from establishment to establishment. When looking at universities to go to for nursing, it's wise to shop about to see where suits your learning style best, whether you like the university and the resources they have to offer and whether you'd be happy living there. You're gong to spend the best part of at least three years there so it's sensible to choose somewhere you'd like to live.
