    Help!

I recently did my AS examinations in biology chemistry and product design graphics and the results were 3 C's! I want to do pharmacy at university and the grade boundaries for pharmacy are AAB-ABB 😭! My predicted grades are ABB and now I don't think I'll be able to do it. My friends that did their A2 subjects in year 13 received C's and D's in their AS results and a few that chose biomedical science got their conditional offers from all universities even though the requirements were AAB?!

I was just wondering, if my grades were C's across, and my predicted grades are ABB, would I still get conditional offers, depending on my personal statement and interview? Will I still be considered as my grades are slightly lower and my predicted grades are higher? Thanks for any helpful advice!

Hello, last year I took Maths, Further Maths, History and Politics and wanted to do Maths or Economics which I needed AAB-AAA. I ended up getting BCCC. For A2 I dropped Politics. I got offers from all 5 of my universities, many lower than the standard requirements! Uni's of Nottingham, Sheffield, Loughborough, Leeds and Leicester, you wouldn't get in Oxford but will probably with a good personal statement get offers from Russel Group universities. I ended up getting AAB to study Maths with Economics at Loughborough, could have gone to any of them that I had offers from just really liked Loughborough.
So yes you will be considered and it is possible with a lot of hard work to improve your grades.

Yes, you will still get conditional offers as your AS grades don't count towards A2. Unis will see that your teachers still have faith in you to perform well at A2. Admittedly speaking, you have to be realistic that people who achieved perhaps BBB-AAB at AS are going to be more favoured.
