I'd like to know if it's possible to either receive (via mail) your results from school rather than go there, or if you can go to pick them up on another day (the following day for example).

I'm pretty sure that if no one collects them on the day, they'll mail them to you. I would phone up your school and ask

My AS results were mailed to my house the following day, but I think you can request them to be emailed if you wish

Yh, if you don't come on the day, they should have it mailed home the following day without delay

My school says you can collect them, someone can collect them on your behalf if they have your permission and ID or they post them second class the next day.

Some schools have them emailed to students or posted online.

It's best to phone to find out your options
