Girl i know sniffing fake coke?

This girl in my circle of friends group has basically hit the rails after being dumped by her boyfriend.
She drinks, she smokes weed, and shes started to sniff cocaine.

The other night, someone gave her fake coke i think he said it was a crushed vitamin tablet or something, she basically paid like £20 for it, im not close with her so i didnt know what to do, but when i heard that it was fake i kinda tried to stop her.

Im worried for her, because she could be sniffing anything.

Will sniffing this crushed vitamin C tablet affect her in a bad way? I think she also said that she also sniffed crushed 'sweetex' after some guy in a club in east london gave it to her.

She tells me sniffing this fake crap is harmless, but im not so sure.

What do i do to get her to stop? Are there any harmful effects of sniffing this crap.

No basically

No harmful effects. No placebo effect as a vitamin tablet wouldn't do anything, except possibly irritate her nasal cavity. As a friend, try to encourage her to start a hobby. Thanks for sharing

The thing is, shes really clever, and i dont think shes actually doing all this for the sake of it, i think shes just tryin 2 annoy her ex by making out shes a druggie. Its like she knows shes using fake stuff. As shes not directly my friend but i see her often, i jus feel like telling her to stop behaving so silly, but i know shes just going to say "u dont even know me, go away" lol. At least it isnt harming her anyway.

I would advise her to crush her own Vitamin C tablets before she leaves the house - it will be a lot cheaper.

well she'only going to be harming herself by taking the real crap so anything else can't be any worse...

although i do remember hearing from someone ( not sure if it was true or not) that someone once sniffed what they thought was cocaine and ended up being ground up lightbulbs which caused them extensive injuries..

but ideally this friend shouldn't be sniffing anything at all and if she does chose to do it and ends up sniffing something that's not cocaine and it is harmful to her then to be fair there is no one to blame but herself!

Yeh whilst it probably wont do her any harm doing 'fake' cocaine once a week for a month or two, I wouldn't like to hazard a guess to possible consequences in the long term, but of course it will be better than real cocaine at least for now.

By the way, if you 'make a line' of whatever and then exhale instead of inhale, it still looks like you've taken it in, the stuff just goes everywhere but if its fine enough you can even notice unless you are looking rlly hard! If she gets caught doing that tho she will get slated tho lol...Does anyone else know that she isnt using real cocaine?

One of my mates snorted Eno for a dare. Nothing much happened. Except his nostrils foamed.

So she's buying fake coke off random people and they're saying it's vitamin tablets etc? What happens when it is washing powder or rat poision or any of the other nasty stuff coke can be cut with to make it cheaper? She's playing a stupid stupid game if she's doing it to get back at her ex or something. Why on earth would she want to take something that she knows is fake? Sounds like blatant attention seeking and that she really needs to grow up before she gets hurt.

Oh and to the poster above, what pathetic advice!

The same happened to me when I sniffed some kool-aid powder. And my saliva was red for the next 24 hours.

you mean the guy who offers advice on how she could pretend to be taking a drug to annoy her bf but not actually take it and not risk her health?

yea that really is bad advice

I dunno. At the moment her alternative is "actually take drugs", so...

The reason coke can be snorted is becasue its really fine - as in tiny. Some chump crushing a pill won't be of a similar size and may block the air passage.

better than doing real coke isn't it.
Sugar type stuff isn't dangerous (or isn't fatal anyway) beacsue I've often done ti for dares.....-shakes head-

I heard that some of my friend's friends snorted crushed Skips when they were at school. Another of my friends snorted crushed Pro Plus - apparently it hurt like hell but kept her up all night!

Any more so than just eating them? o.0

Could it be possible that she is just trying to seek attention in an attempt to get her ex back? One of my friends made out that she became depressed and went on anti- depressants when her ex broke up with her, but she weren't taking anti- depressants.. She just wanted to show her ex that she really loved him (although I don't see the logic, but many people do it!).

I think that if you are not very close to her, then just let her do what she wants. If you are close to one of her close friends and you're still concerned, then why not speak to them about it?

Sniffing vitamin C tablets is pretty harmless, I can't think of anything that could go wrong. Like I said, even if she does not realise it, she just seems to be seeking attention.

Hope that helps

The harmful effects would be that she's wasting money. However, taking thr real stuff is equally a waste of money. Better that she doesn't take the real stuff, lol.
