maths a level grade query watch

    • Thread Starter

i am a bit confused as to what ums you need to achieve an a* in maths. i achieved 545 ums for a level and got an a grade but dont understand why its not an a* as surely 545/600 is 90%?? below are my grades for each module

    c1 93
    c2 96
    s1 86
    c3 88
    c4 82
    m1 100

could someone pls help me understand this better as i would like to remark to try to get an a*. thanks

You need an average of 90% in C3 and C4 for an A*. Your average is 85% so there isn't really any chance that a remark would gain you 10 marks and get you the A*.

You need at least (480 UMS overall and) 180 UMS from C3 and C4 for an A*.
