In the watch world, it's not a matter of analogue vs digital but mechanical versus quartz.

So I've got about 6 mechanical watches. My current one was made in 1962 and still works today, without a battery.

As it has already been suggested, it's more about Quartz vs mechanical. In my opinion digital watches look cheep and infantise the individual wearing them. My Tissot has never let me down. If that is out of your budget I recommend a timex weekender. Or a Fifth Watch.

Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.”

Analogue for me, obviously. I've a little Rotary skeleton watch, nothing special.
