Are there any other programmes that fund you to get a teaching qualification
    or is it only teachfirst?

if there are, what are the programmes called?

As in, that pay you to teach?

You can apply for a normal PGCE/SCITT route but they need to be salaried positions. You can search for these specifically on UCAS. Bare in mind, that these are very competitive to get onto and usually aimed at mature students who need the money for mortgages, children etc. You're required to have a minimum of 3y work experience in any field too.

Depending on your subject, you can also receive a bursary of varying amounts (and based on degree classification).

Depending on your degree classification and the subject that you want to train in, the bursaries can be quite large - in some case equivalent to a years salary, just in a lump sum. For example, a graduate with a 1st or a PHD training to teach Physics can get a bursary up to £30,000. Other bursaries are listed on https://getintoteaching.education.go...alary/overview.

    Hope this helps!

It's weird but it seems to me that no one on here has heard of Premier Pathways.
