I'm in my mid twenties and am a virgin, for reasons I won't go into on here. I've been seeing a guy recently and he invited me back to his on our last date but I declined. However, the more I think about it, the more I think I would like to have sex with him (I'm not sentimental about losing my virginity). How should I go about telling him it will be my first time? I'm kind of embarrassed because I am such an old virgin, and I don't want him to think it's a really big deal for me because it's not. Obviously I will be nervous, but I am seeing it as just a bit of fun. Any advice?

(Almost) everyone is nervous the first time they are sexual with anyone new, so being nervous is not going to be a giveaway if you don't want to tell him. Plus if you know how to orgasm, you've stuff to teach him about what works for you.

But it'll probably be easier if you say what you've said here: it is your first time, but it's not a really big deal for you.

If its really not that big of a deal then maybe you dont have to tell him? If its your first time as a couple im sure hes not expecting 20 different posistions or something weird like that. Just go with the flow.

If he cares about you, he won't make it a big deal. He'll probably think it's cute

'Such an old virgin'. Calm down and stop believing what society tells you. If he has an issue with it, he's not the person you should lose it to.

No need to be embarrassed.. Just be honest with him.. If he's a cool dude he'll understand
