Hi Can anyone help? I didn't quite get enough points from my A levels to get into Uni this year for Child Nursing. I am looking at Access courses but there are so many i.e Access to Health, Access to Health & Science professions etc. Can anyone tell me which course is the best to lead to nursing? different Uni's seem to want different access courses. Another problem is some colleges are saying I need to be 19 to do the access course which I'm not until 14th Sept! it's really frustrating, but if I can get on one I want it to be a recognised one for nursing.

    thanks

I think you'll need to work backwards. Look at unis you'd want to go to and think you could realistically get into and then work out what courses they'd accept. If it's unclear from the website what they're looking for email and ask. Also think about getting relevant work experience when possible.
