I am currently entering my final year of study in September and have been wanting to do some dissertation preparation in advance. So far I have been in contact with my lecturers over the summer and have no progression in regards to advice on how to be well prepared for the final year of study.

I understand that over the summer lecturers have other commitments so to ensure that my efforts don't fall short I thought the best other people to ask are the students!

    My questions are..

-what can I do to ensure that I am best prepared to write a dissertation?
-how much time did you spend on your dissertation on a daily basis?
-how did you process all the information that you are learning into a core piece of work?
-what did you seem as valid information to put into your dissertation?
-what can I do to ensure that my piece of work stands out from others?

I look forward to hearing from you!
