This year I did 3 AS-levels and a BTEC Level 3 Certificate. I got a Distinction* + AAB. I'll be applying to UCL, Bristol, Manchester, Warwick, etc.

    Hope this helps.

If you're doing 2 A-level + BTEC, be careful because some universities like Manchester and UCL don't accept them.

Hi, yes you can get into a Uni. I did BTEC ICT subsidiary and got a D* and BTEC business diploma at DD. I also did Psychology up until AS, and got a B. I would have continued to do Psychology if I had the time, but the BTEC courses took up most of my time. I now have a place at Brunel University to do Computer science (foundation course).

    hi,

Depends on the course you want to do. I did a BTEC in applied Science and applied only to Russel group uni's and got into 4 out of my 5 choices and was not interviewed or told I'd have to do a foundation year. I am off to study Genetics at Liverpool in September so I'm pretty proud of myself. Yes not all uni's will accept them but most do accept just a BTEC. Just read the entry requirements carefully of any uni's you want to apply for so you know before you waste an application.
