www.learnpython.org might be a useful website to look at, it has a code window which lets you write and run code and there's quite a few tutorials on there which would help to get you started. It might also be worthwhile looking on Youtube to see if there's any Python tutorials on there as sometimes it might be easier to understand when someone shows you through a video tutorial rather than having to read it yourself, depending on your preferred style of learning. If you want any explanations I'll try my best to help also, good luck with it!

https://codecademy.com/ is amazing. It's how I started experimenting with other coding languages and perfected some of the advanced functions within Python, I've recently been learning Java on there before I go back for A-Level and once again I feel like I know the language quite well.

I'd 100% suggest you give it a look.

I had a look at that but it didn't give much information about functions etc, its more doing and learning coding... Thanks though.

The main resources I used were:

- thenewboston (this guy is the just frickin awesome!)
- tutorialspoint
- stackoverflow

Also, if I ever got stuck in would type my problem into Google and huzzah a whole website dedicated to that problem haha. Another thing is to just experiment and create all sorts of quirky programs, doing that will really help you.

Tbh I've never liked codecademy, it's just too slow and blehhhh...

yes I am doing the ocr Coursework
I just got my OCR computing result today. What matter most is actually those paperwork, such as evaluation, whilst keeping an efficient manner on the coding itself.

I would suggest :

http://usingpython.com/

Wouldn't suggest others like stack overflow as it's just spoon feeding there are literally working maths quiz but they won't do you any good in terms of knowledge.
