Many top critics agree that HBO's The Sopranos helped pave the way for Donald Trump to be where he is right now politically.
Now let's see you try to avoid binge watching every season

    Modern Family.

It's a funny comedy about a diverse family that has all sorts of things going on, where they are often linked.

The first season or two are boring, not going to lie, but after you know the characters you often get these conversations that you have to pay full attention to to get, and it's really well worked and often powerful. It speaks to me about my life or bits of it, maybe my life is just chaotic  but it's pretty cool.

True Detective season 1 is the most beautifully crafted story arc that keep you intrigued that entire time. Cast chemistry is fantastic and is without a doubt the most entertaining 8 episodes of television I have ever seen.
    Don't bother with season 2.

    Dinnerladies.
Yes, its a bit old now, but the show is a comedy great.
Its a funny show and the sort of show that you can watch over and over again, and still enjoy watching it.
Its also got quite a few great actors in it such as victoria wood, julie walters, celia imrie, duncan preston and maxine peake.
