the taste of a martini depends on a lot of factors but the only I have a good as I use quality throughout the process
    1. quality spirits
I use a good vodka like gray goose or belvedere (these are also acceptable Ciroc and Ketel one but Finlandia is a final resort)
if I go for gin then I'd say bloom or chase are the best with Bombay sapphire being acceptable
as for vermouth there is only one I'd use and that's Lillet blanc but noilly prat is just about acceptable

    2. quality preparation
I use a sterling silver jigger and shaker for making martinis some say it has no effect but I find it does personally and I have a Lalique glass to drink from

Solve x in the following equation:
    sin x = -1/2
    sin x = +/- 1/sqrt(2)

There are an infinite number of solutions to the, what I call, equations. The domain of the sine function hasn't been restricted, so it would be impossible to list them all.

Nice question - would not expect to find it on the chat section.
