How many taught postgrad courses did you apply for?

Three but that was because there were only three master's courses available which I felt met my requirements. If there had been more I would probably have made more applications.

    One.

There was only one that I really wanted to do. I had a second choice but it was very much second-best. If I hadn't got in to my first choice, then I might have considered applying for the second choice. Luckily it didn't come to that.

and i paniced in case my first choice didnt run!

I work full time too so it also had to be the course that would fit in with life too

Six (the same course, just at different unis). I got into four, including my first choice.

Just one. Most people I know applied for two - Oxford and Cambridge.

Two - Each costing £50. In reality, it was a waste of money as I applied for a second one after being accepted at my first choice. I was just worried about grade requirements, so I applied for a second.

3 courses which I think is the max anyone should do to maintain a good application quality and keep their potential options open

Exactly this. (Oxford was my clear first choice, and what I went for, but at the time of applying I felt like I had to have at least one more and added Cambridge...)
